Anesthesiologist, Critical care specialist, and founder of one of India’s largest multispecialty healthcare chains, Dr. Manivannan has been working on his vision of making quality healthcare affordable since 1999..

He is the recipient of outstanding anesthesiologist and leading medical practitioner of 2018 by IMA and served as the Chairman of Round Table India. A seasoned healthcare professional and an ardent angel investor, he is on the lookout for visionary entrepreneurs to collaborate with.

Dr.Aravindan

M.S, F.R.C.S. Ortho (UK & Ireland)

The current chairman of ASSOCHAM, Dr. Aravindan is the co-founder, executive director and chief orthopeadic surgeon of one of India’s largest multispecialty healthcare chains. A gold medallist, he spent his formative years in UK and Ireland acclimatizing himself to cutting edge technology, with a vision of bringing the same level of care to India at affordable cost.

He has been awarded ‘Best Doctor’ by Dr. MGR Medical University & ‘Pride of Tamil Nadu’ for his achievements in the healthcare industry and is a member of the governing council of TiE.

Uma Maheswari

Ex-Microsoft, Nokia, IIM Calcutta

Innovations Head

Uma heads the Innovations Discovery vertical. With over 15 years of experience in leadership capacities, and an MBA from IIM Calcutta, she has been responsible for bringing in technology based solutions and helping end users in data driven decision making in the healthcare domain. Instrumental in mentoring and scaling up medtech startups, she plays a mentorship role in several startup organizations.

She is also involved in Tamil Nadu Guidance Bureau and instrumental in bringing investments into the state. She holds a BE from Anna University and has previously been a part of Nokia Siemens, HP and Microsoft. With keen interest to solve gaps in current healthcare system through technology, her role revolves around digital transformation, Innovation, Leadership Development and Talent management

Anoop Mohan

Ex-Edelweiss, Unilever, Brandshark -  IIM Calcutta Anoop Mohan

Investments Head

Anoop heads the investment division with more than 8 years of experience in finance, strategy and research. Prior to joining HealthcareCapital, he was the CFO of Brandshark and a derivatives trader at Edelweiss Capital, with stints at Unilever, L&T and ISRO.

He has worked extensively with startups to scale their business and streamline capital utilization. Anoop holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta, and Copenhagen Business School along with B.Tech from IIT (BHU), Varanasi
